| Beggsy (pop idol) is an ever present. He was Top Goalscorer in our first season (2003/04) and finished 2004/05 as our best player, picking up the Most Improved Player award. The guitar man has hidden talents which he unveiled at the 04/05 club dinner when the old crooner took charge of entertainment and blew us all away! Beggsy is quite the trendsetter, although I think the team should hold a charity night to raise funds for a pair of jeans for the big man (he either has them hanging off his arse or they're falling to bits with all the holes he's torn in them). He's become a bit of a casanova and is never seen with the same date twice. When not playing the field, he's playing on it and very well! Rod played in the Sammy Moore final and could be an outstanding striker if he learns not to try and burst the net with every shot. However, he has really come into his own as a central midfielder with a great range of passing and his fair share of goals. | |
