Marrsy is
one of our exiled Penarol players. He came in 2004/05 and has
added some much needed height to the squad. He has also brought
in a new male grooming regime which although is good for the
team's overall appearance, is frankly quite worrying! On the
pitch he is unbeatable over long distances and can be our best
passer which he proved during the Sammy Moore Memorial final.
Unfortunately he can be a little too critical of himself at
times and tends to let that get on top of him. Scored a
memorable hat-trick among his goals in his first season although
considering his height, few were with his head (didn't want to
wreck his hair!). He is one of an elite group of players to hold
nominations for both "Goal of..." and "Miss of the Season."
More recently the big man has taken up an interest in speed
dating... his favourite chat up lines? "I'd
like to kiss you passionately on the lips, then move up to your
belly button",
"You
must work at Subway, 'cause you just gave me a footlong."
and "Why
don't you get down on your knees and smile like a doughnut?" You're the Smoothe one! |
