Jay (or
Jeremy... aka the chocolate man) is Mr. Dedication. He has been
at the club from the beginning and turns up for everything
(unless of course he is working, sick or has a tanning session
booked). Jay can play almost any position on the pitch, although
we'll have to rethink playing him up front after he picked up
the Miss of the Season award 2004/05. Recently married to Eileen
in 2005 they have become the "Posh n' Becks" of Lisnafillan.
Sickeningly fit, Jay often helps take the training sessions and
is an active member of the committee. It has been said that Jay
would play even if he had a broken leg (sometimes it looks as
though he has!). His fan club is currently meeting every friday
night at the Vivo in Ahoghill. Jay's dedication to the team has been justly rewarded and as of January '06 he takes up the position of Assistant Manager in the absence of Michael McLaughlin who is currently unavailable due to work commitments. |
